As American Hat Makers has grown, we have found ourselves with more and more scrap leather left over from our increased hat production. As dedicated stewards of our natural resources we wanted to utilize our leftover leather in a meaningful way.

To that end, our talented designers have worked with our team to produce these gorgeous, super-durable leather handbags and totes. The result is beautifully simple handbags that show off their raw, bohemian nature and offer extreme durability, water-resistance, and a lifetime guarantee.

Just like our hats, these bags are proudly Handmade in America with high-quality leather. Each bag is unique –  as no two pieces of genuine leather are alike. Each scrap of leather is being repurposed into a one-of-a-kind piece.
