Ruby Roxanne constantly raises the bar for what defines an artisan designer. There’s hardly a more inspired, driven, and talented designer out there. We here at American Hat Makers are always so excited to see what her next evolving hat collection will be. Ruby was invited to be a part of a groundbreaking event at the SOMArts Cultural Center in San Francisco on Saturday, May 4th. The first ever San Francisco International Art Salon  is going to feature over 80 international artists, musicians, fashion designers, photographers, models and performers to create this magical event. In their own words, the goal of this event is to bring you an unforgettable artistic, spiritual experience and to repair the broken bridge between the creatives and the patronage. I could go down the list of the night’s highlights but it would take hours, however I will mention that there will be a magnificent fashion show produced by Pivot. Bottom line, you don’t want to miss out. As for our girl Ruby, she will be displaying her iconic leather mermaid wearable art piece for only the 3rd time ever publicly. However, this time, the outfit will have a jaw dropping twist. Ruby’s goal with the outfit is to promote Clean Oceans Matter, which is very close to Ruby’s heart. Maintaining and expanding knowledge of this environmental emergency for our marine life is very important to Ruby.
